We are currently looking for developers with:

• Excellent PHP skills and experience with one or more databases
• A good working knowledge of HTML/CSS and Javascript (ideally jQuery) and a good understanding of source control systems abd common web application security issues
• Experience of code testing, continuous integration and code review and of working with Moodle are an advantage

To be successful in the role, things we look for in developers and irrespective of their technical skills include:

• Confidence to work both independently or as part of a team, and to discuss requirements with clients; providing alternative solutions where a different approach may be cheaper/faster/better
• Be willing and able to work with some direction and be prepared to switch context/projects if and when required
• Have a passion for open source approaches to software creation, and (most importantly) the wisdom to ask for help when needed!
